DD Dagger is in the process of releasing 3 singles and 2 videos recorded by Charles Godfree at Scary American Studio in Austin, TX. They will be the 3rd effort by DD Dagger to be released on Record Label Loop Discos Brazil. The band has solidified their lineup! Tyler Rusin on bass, Chris Sawyer on drums, and Charles Landers on guitar. The song is co-written by Raindogg and Allyson in Brooklyn: The writing team has produced several songs and videos together including Lies, Erodica & Risky Business. Videos produced by Raindogg include: Brooklyn Girls, Erodica, Wishing Well, and Broken Arrow. The first single "Wishing Well" feels inspired by Blondie and the NYC underground of the 70's. Written in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, Allyson desired that falsetto that Blondie employs in Rhapsody. Lyrically she incorporates her favorite writers imagery: Haruki Murakami; and sings, "what's the point of Wishing in a Wishing Well - for what can't be; what never will be again" and "and down so deep; I dropped into the well. To seek what I believe, in that which I perceived. A dark and stormy story - it was so deep." DD Dagger is currently in the process of booking a tour within Brazil during the month of November; sharing the bill with Papisa a.k.a. Rita Olivia. In the meantime the band is releasing 3 singles in 3 months as well as two videos. Stay tuned for the next single: Broken Arrow: a winding road trip tune reminiscent of the desert sky in West Texas.
